Before You Begin
You'll need:
- Sample TXT or CSV file - Example of the data format you'll be printing
- Sample label image - Picture or sketch of desired label layout
Critical: The data field order cannot change once configured. Ensure your sample represents the actual format your system will send.
Creating a New Template
- Open QRlogix Software
- Locate the File Drop section on dashboard
- Click the New button
Step 1: Create New or Use Existing

- Height (in inches or millimeters)
Step 3: Name Your Template
Template Name: Descriptive name (e.g., "LIS Pathology Slides")
Description: Optional notes about use
Step 5: Configure Settings
Folder Settings - Configure Folder Settings

Data Settings - Configure Data Settings

Label Setting - Configure and design the label

Configuration Order
Important: Configure in this order:
- Folder Settings first → Where files come from
- Data Settings second → How to parse files
- Label Settings last → How to design labels
Each step feeds into the next.
